Library Roadshow

Yesterday at Sunnyhills we had a visit from the people at Pakuranga Library. They told us all about what you can get out of the library using your library card. Did you know there are over 55 libraries in Auckland! Who knew you could get video games out too! Even some of their books have Virtual Reality! We can't wait to head to the library in the holidays to check out all the wonderful things to do.

Library Time

Room 11 loves exploring all the different aspects of the library. Have a look at some of us creating using the Lego and using our imaginations with the puppets.

A Windy Day!!

Room 11 had lots of fun this week reading our big book "A Windy Day!" It's all about a King who looses his crown when the wind blows it away. He also lost his coat!! We drew pictures of the King with his new crown and new outfit and wrote a description to go with it. We also got to make crowns so we could be Kings and Queens for the day. Have a look at our crowns below!

Room 11 and 19's Junior Assembly - We had so much fun sharing our parrots, treasure maps and Autumn acrostic poems! Have a look below....we also won the assembly award....Well done Room 11 Miss Ramsay is proud of you!!!

New Zealand Playhouse - "#Whose the Fairest of them all?"

We were so lucky that during book week we got to watch this incredibly funny play "#whose the fairest of them all?" performed by New Zealand Playhouse. Room 11 had lots of fun laughing and singing along. Ask us what our favourite part was.
